Rain Sun

Rain is a young artist based in Richmond Hill and a student at Richmond Hill High School. He discovered his passion for painting at the age of five, and art has since become an important way for him to explore the world, express his imagination, and share his understanding of life and the world. Through colour, form, and creative expression, Rain seeks to capture both the beauty around him and the energy of the times in which he lives.

Rain’s artwork has been selected for the Ontario Legislative Assembly Youth Arts Program for two consecutive years. In 2026, his acrylic painting was awarded First Place in the Youth Category at the 62nd Aurora Art Show, organized by SOYRA, further recognizing his growing artistic talent and dedication.

Rain has successfully held solo art exhibitions at the Oakville Community Centre and Markham Public Library. He will also be presenting two upcoming art shows at the King Township Municipal Centre and the Aurora Cultural Centre’s Underground Gallery. Through these exhibitions, Rain hopes not only to share his artistic vision with the community, but also to sell his artwork and donate the proceeds to support charitable causes.

Rain hopes to inspire fellow young artists to create works that reflect the spirit of their time while expressing their own unique artistic voices. Through his creative journey, he seeks to bring fresh energy, vitality, and new perspectives to traditional artistic expression.
