Artist, digital creator, photographer, explorer, and writer — all of this describes me. I see myself as a creative person driven by curiosity and a desire to find new and unconventional ways to express ideas. Along with being a researcher and an IT entrepreneur with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, I have also been actively involved in the art world, making creativity an important part of my work.
My curiosity, combined with my creative nature, pushes me to experiment with different ideas, concepts, and techniques. This approach has helped me develop my own original style in both art and literature, shaped by my personal worldview and philosophical system.
I have no formal training in art or literature, which has its challenges, although I work hard to compensate through self-education. At the same time, this gives me a significant advantage. I am not limited by rules or doctrines that formal education often imposes on creative people. The freedom to play with paint and words and to break familiar patterns feels natural in the new age of AI, where anything created strictly “by the rules” quickly becomes faceless and lost among countless similar works.
As I see it, today we are witnessing a shift from “craftsman” to “thinker.” The artist is no longer just a master of technique but a carrier of ideas. The goal is not simply to please the eye but to provoke thought, spark emotions, and ask questions. An artist becomes a conversation partner who speaks through forms, symbols, and metaphors.
A painting is no longer a window into the world but a window into a concept. Art becomes a visual manifesto — an opinion, a doubt, a challenge, an idea. True art stops being decoration and becomes an intellectual space.
This is how I see art today, and this explains why my work differs from what is considered “classic” art, which often repeats ideas and techniques done many times before.
You can find examples of my work, as well as information about my novels and my philosophy called “Transformative Magic,” on my personal website Riabinin.com.
