Meet Margaret Buckworth (she/her)
Margaret is inspired by experimenting. It keeps her thinking, and the art moving, changing, and often vibrant. Her art is playful, intuitive, and colourful, expressing feelings, provocations and tension. Margaret first took art lessons from the Winnipeg Art Gallery. She has since taken workshops in Japan, Amsterdam, and Italy as well around Toronto. As she lived in Japan for many years, and speaks Japanese, her work sometimes has a Japanese influence.
Margaret currently teaches art from Kindergarten to Grade 8 in the public school system.
Margaret has her Visual Arts Specialist qualifications from York University studied in Mississauga, and Italy.
