A Creative Art Experience for Adults

This hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop invites adults to explore two accessible and joyful forms of artmaking:
1. Hand-building a personalized incense holder using air-dry clay
2. Painting on a small canvas pouch (pencil case or cosmetic bag)
Participants will leave the session with two handmade, usable art pieces, along with a sense of relaxation, joy, and creative accomplishment.
Workshop Objectives
– Introduce participants to two approachable art forms: clay sculpting and fabric painting
– Foster creativity, self-expression, and relaxation through hands-on activities
– Offer an inclusive, warm, and supportive space to create and connect
– Encourage functional creativity: making art that can be used and enjoyed in daily life
Workshop Details
- Target Audience: Adults aged 18+ (no prior art experience required)
- Duration: 3 hours (with a short social/art break in between)
- Ideal Group Size: 10–15 participants
Session Plan
15 min – Welcome & Introduction
65 min – Fabric Painting on Canvas Pouch (led by Naghmeh)
70 min – Incense Holder with Air-Dry Clay (led by Parinaz)
30 – Wrap-Up, Sharing & Photos

Fabric Painting:
– Canvas pouches with zippers
– Fabric paints, brushes, stencils, water jars, and mixing palettes
Air-Dry Clay Session:
– Professional-grade air-dry clay
– Clay boards and tools, rolling pins, texture stamps,
– Acrylic paints
Take-Home Creations
– One hand-painted fabric pouch
– One handcrafted incense holder
– Printed instructions for sealing/drying the clay piece at home
