ARTISTIC TECHNIQUES FOR DRAWING, PAINTING & VISUALIZING
I encourage my students to trust their abilities. and accept what comes out. It doesn’t really change, you just learn how to manipulate as you desire.
The foundation of my art classes is formed around many classic techniques for drawing, colour theory, composition and painting, using modern materials, applications and subjects. Students are encouraged to combine their artstic ideas, new techniques & processes to develop a unique, personal style.
Daily drawing practice, visualization & self critique are a large part of being successful. These tools enable each student to grow artistically from one piece to the next.
Mediums include graphite, charcoal, soft pastels, watercolour, acrylic and oil paint.
Tweens & Teens ages 10 + – Thursdays, 4:30-6:30
$40/class, paid monthly.
Materials included. Sketchbook is required for notes, in-class practice and daily practice. Max. 8 students
