OIL/ACRYLIC – Painting, Beginners/Intermediate
My teaching style encourages students to express themselves using either oil or acrylic paint. Each student has their own style reflective of their personality; their understanding of the subject that they’re painting, and their ability to apply paint. I coach and help the student to further develop their individual style, or a style of their choice, whether it be more realistic, abstract or a looser style.
Whether painting in oil or acrylic some things are a must: such as, good composition, an understanding of drawing, perspective (both linear & colour) and form pattern (values). We will discuss what works and where to make improvements.
For the past 35 years I have coached hundreds of students in a fun, but very informative style. I still love to teach.
- 8 weeks – $340 for 3 hour classes/$410 for a 4 hour classes
- Supply List provided upon registration
- Missed class can be made up on an alternate day (if available) or virtually
- All classes will be held virtually if another lockdown occurs.
- I will supply the first canvas & paint and use of brushes.
- You only need to bring your enthusiasm
