Demonstration Sheila Davis is known for her energetic impressionist landscapes of the natural chaotic forests of Canada. She will begin the demonstration with an initial direct sketch and use these lines to build subsequent marks using value, tone and temperature. Each line and mark placed influences the next mark and the next after that until a complex web of texture and value is achieved. Subtle variations in the surface are pulled out to achieve a luminous back lighting and minute explosions of colour and value.
