Colour Theory Workshop – Olga Senyk

This is a ‘hands on’ workshop designed specifically to take the mystery out of
understanding how to use the colour wheel, mixing colours (ex. realistic greens, &
fall colour), warm and cool colours, the importance of values vs colour, colour compatibility &
harmonizing, colour contrast, along with the most important aspect ‘good value mixing’,
to create surface movement, form pattern and distance.
When you have a good understand of these concepts you will more easily produce a competent,
more exciting scene with a foreground, middle ground and background that work.
