Yuni Ko Art ClassAges: 6 – 16 years old

Students are taught in a positive and fun classroom atmosphere. Each student is encouraged to express their unique creativity and imagination throughout the learning process. We are excited to offer a fun-filled, multi-media children’s art class. Students will be exploring many different techniques, using various media, and encouraged to express their unique creativity throughout their learning process.

About Yuni Ko

Yuni was nominated for the “Artist for UNICEF” Palermo Italy and invited as a Guest Artist  for the success of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics 2018 Symposium event. She is a WCA  Jury member for art Competition ‘Compete for Peace, Not War’ and for ‘The Gandhi Foundation’ India  as well 2017.  She is the recipient of several international juried art awards. Her work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group shows, art fairs, galleries, and museums including the LOUVRE in Paris, France.  Her work is found in private and public collections in the U.S., France, England, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Korea and Canada.

She is an innovative art teacher who inspires young people. Many of her students have received art awards and certificates and won art contests. Yuni creates instructional programs and lessons that meet individual student needs and group level requirements.

​Yuni  studied  at Emily Carr University Arts and Design in Vancouver and École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris where she studied her visual arts. She also studied interior design at Int’l Academy of Design in Toronto.  She  received a Children’s Art and Art Therapy Certificate at Korea Children’s Teacher Academy and the Children’s Sexual Health Certificate at the City of Toronto Public Health Canada
