Class description:
Yuni believes that all children are artists and that they are creative by nature. She encourages young children to learn with an “outside the box” perspective in a positive and fun classroom atmosphere. Students will be exploring different techniques, using various media, learning about basic art theory, history, master artists and more. Yuni’s curriculum encourages her students to express their unique creativity throughout their learning process. There will be an art show in the end to showcase all of their wonderful pieces.
About Yuni:
Yuni is an innovative art teacher who has inspired young artists. Many of her students have received art awards, certificates and won art contests. She creates instructional programs and lessons that meet individual students’ needs as well as group level requirements.
Yuni was nominated for the “Artist for UNICEF” in Palermo Italy and invited as a Guest Artist for the success of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics 2018 Symposium Event. She is an ambassador of World Citizen Artists (WCA) in Paris (currently in London, UK) which promotes peace, human rights, poverty awareness, and health and education. She is a WCA Jury member for the art competition, ‘Compete for Peace, Not War’ and for ‘The Gandhi Foundation’ India as well in 2017. Yuni is the recipient of several International, Federal, Provincial, Local juried art awards and competitions. Her work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group shows, art fairs, galleries, and museums including the LOUVRE in Paris, France. Her work is found in private and public collections in the U.S., France, England, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Japan, Korea and Canada.
