My paintings celebrate the beauty of ordinary days: the quiet moments that most of us pass by without noticing. A child holding a dandelion before making a wish, a ballerina resting between dances, lilacs on a table, a conversation over coffee. These everyday scenes hold a meaning that deserves to be seen. Working in oil , I move between realism and impressionism. Realism lets me stay faithful to the people and places I observe, while impressionism gives me the freedom to capture what is harder to hold onto: changing light, atmosphere, and the feeling of a moment as it happens. Light connects all of my work, whether it is the warm glow of a café, sunlight over a village road, or a figure emerging from shadow. Through it, I hope to remind viewers that daily life is not something to rush through, but something worth pausing for, and that the most ordinary days are often the most beautiful – Olesya
