Zabrina Szymanski is a full-time Project Manager in Construction.  Her newest body of work is in response to working a male dominated industry. Inspired by Pop Art and Street Art, this contemporary series is about exploring highly graphic images of women.  The paintings are poetic and anonymous, capturing a powerful energy.   There is a contrast between the bodies depicted, and the faces.  The faces speak to the everyday woman, representing the energy of her voice and emotion.  The torsos on the other hand while celebrating the beauty of women, they are non-representational of the average woman, being unachievable for most women.  The torsos have no faces so the viewer feels less guilty, and non-confrontational viewing her. In both cases, it is meant to celebrate the energy and beauty of women.
